Since inception, CTN quickly gained a strong foothold in the U.S. inbound market. The driving forces in this process were management's incessant vision to predict the travel trends of the foreign markets promoting North America as a prime destination and the company's ability to concentrate on a variety of then newly emerging "niche" market segments (incentives, congresses, trade fairs, technical and special interest tours).

By the end of 1984, CTN had expanded its domestic network by adding a Miami and Los Angeles affiliate. Shortly thereafter, these affiliates were absorbed by CTN, becoming integral parts of a rapidly expanding American company. Later, in 1990, the doors of CTN San Francisco were opened and CTN Nevada became an active member of The Consortium. On the international scene CTN appointed a group of reputable and established overseas travel companies as its General Sales Agents (GSA) in Italy, Germany, Finland and Kuwait. These companies were instrumental in the rapid emergence of CTN as one of the leaders in the inbound industry in North America.

Since its inception in 1983, with a staff of 4 dedicated travel specialists, CTN has grown into a global travel network employing a staff of over 70 professionals throughout the world.
